gardens i-iii
"gardens i-iii" is a collection of pieces that touch on themes of patience, uncertainty, presence, connection, and trust. To grow a garden is to embrace chaos and face the unknown, to carefully choose every seed and nourish it with patience. It is to dedicate one's time to the process of creation and letting go of any expectation for the outcome, as gardens, with just enough care, will flourish on their own terms.
Artists are often told to "trust the process," but what does that mean, exactly? In "Gardens," we aim to explore the uncertainty of the creative practice through the lens of gardening: plant a seed, nurture it consistently, and be patient - the garden will grow as it is meant to. Having applied those simple rules to our collaborative effort, we invite you to step into our sonic garden.
